About Us
Logan Bains
Owner
Logan has been in construction for over 12 years. Starting out as a custom home builder after many years in the luxury car business, he's learned how to build a house from the foundation up, as well as relationships. Logan spent 3 years doing commercial restoration throughout the United States, with a focus on water remediation after hurricanes. After working for several highly respected roofing companies, Logan turned his passion of helping people into a business that focuses on the long-term goals and satisfaction of his clients, owning his own roofing and outdoor living company.
Logans childhood dream was always to serve other and his community in the role of being a Firefighter and Paramedic. At the young age of 39, he finally set his mind to fulfill that dream, completing the fire academy and EMT school, with plans to continue his education with paramedic school. Currently serving as a part of the Farmersville Fire Department, Logan has fit right into the fire service and plans to continue helping and serving others in many different facets.
When he's not helping others, you can find Logan participating in his local church and spending time with his beautiful wife and 7 children. Logan also owns and operates a beef cattle company, as well as a land services/dirt business, allowing him to work along side his family and teach his children that hard work pays off.
Colby Patton
Roofing/Outdoor Living Specialist
Colby is a dedicated firefighter with 14 years of experience, passionately committed to helping people in his community.
Colby brings the same level of commitment and passion to Ladder 1 Roofing and Construction where he is excited to help each and every one of our clients.
Residing in Anna with his girlfriend and their three children, Colby balances his demanding careers with a fulfilling family life. When he's not on duty, or in the field, he enjoys hitting the gym, honing his shooting skills, and spending quality time outdoors hunting. Colby's energetic spirit and love for adventure make him a role model for his children and an inspiring figure in his professions.
Hunter Gaffney
Roofing/Outdoor Living Specialist
Hunter has been a first responder since he graduated High School in 2013. Completing EMT school in 2014 and simultaneously becoming a Volunteer with the Little Elm Fire Department. He continued on to go to Paramedic school in 2016 and then the Fire Academy in 2017. He remained at LEFD until 2019 when God called him to go into Critical Care medicine and departed from the Fire service. He would continue on this path for 5 years learning a whole new field of medicine. Eventually things would circle back around and put him back into emergency medicine where he is currently serving the residence of Collin County.
Hunter is happily married to his wife Marissa. They've been blessed with 3 kids. The kids love going to the park, causing havoc in the house, and movie night.
Hunter is also an avid gamer and a night owl! If he isn't at work, and the family has gone to bed, you'll find him in his Man-cave with his giant PC setup gaming the hours away. With the night owl-ness and long sleepless nights of being in EMS he's no stranger to hard work, long hours with no sleep. Most would describe him as a workaholic, but family will always come first. He holds Faith, love, and integrity above all else.
